Mary Aleiner
AERIAL INSTRUCTOR
Mary Aleiner is a dancer and aerialist whose work blends classical dance training with contemporary aerial performance. She began her dance training at the Dance Theatre of Harlem and furthered her studies through intensives with Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, Steps on Broadway, and State Street Ballet. In 2022, Mary discovered aerial arts and quickly developed a passion for exploring movement both on the ground and in the air.
Mary now performs professionally in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and has appeared at the Arlington Theatre and Lobero Theatre, as well as in dance films and live productions. Her work reflects a deep connection to both the artistry and athleticism of movement.
She has been teaching movement since age 13, completed her comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Pilates NYC at 15, and later trained as an aerial instructor under Autumn Lotus. Mary currently leads the aerial program at California Dance Theatre and enjoys sharing her combined background in dance and aerial with students of all levels.
